The British Government has denied involvement in any act, during Nigeria’s 2015 presidential election, which aided General Muhammadu Buhari to win then incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan. The government of Britain stated this in response to Jonathan’s claim in a new book launched on Friday “Against the Run of Play…,” that the country’s former Prime Minister David Cameron, worked concertedly with United States of America (USA) ex-President Barak Obama and France to ensure he was removed from office. However, the British High Commission in Nigeria in a statement on Friday signed by the Press and Public Affairs Officer, Mr. Joe Abuku, said Britain should not be blamed for the outcome of the election, adding that it was entirely the decision of Nigerians.
