FEC: Again, Buhari absent, Osinbajo presides
Even though his aides and media handlers keep telling Nigerians otherwise, it is becoming more obvious that President Muhammadu Buhari may not really be ready to continue his official assignments yet.
The president was again absent at the weekly Federal Executive Council held on Wednesday at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The meeting was presided over by the Vice president, Yemi Osinbajo, who also presided over the last couple of such meetings.
This is the fourth week in row that President Buhari has failed to attend the very important meeting where important issues of state are discussed, and decisions reached.
The president’s absence from FEC meetings, and other public functions since his return from a 49-day medical vacation in London, has continued to throw up concerns, different speculations about his health.
His wife Aisha however said on Tuesday that the president’s health is not as serious as many people make it seem.
